Description

This module will introduce you to basic methods of research in the social sciences, particularly as they apply to journalism, media and communication. Whether you're considering undertaking a dissertation or seeking a grounding in research methods the module will provide an overview of key social scientific research methods and the different ways in which research can be conducted. It will also introduce you to the University ethics strategy and its relationship to research.
